A ModPo’er makes an impromptu visit to KWH

Yesterday Al was hanging around at a Kelly Writers House open house (for Penn’s homecoming day). A ModPo’er who is not affiliated with Penn other than through ModPo, who happened to be in Philly with family, decided to make the “pilgrimmage” (her word) to see the Kelly Writers House on a Saturday, not expecting anyone to be there. But then place was warm and lit and open and full of people. And there Al was. She saw him from the other side of the first floor, and shouted, “That’s my professor!” After a few minutes of chatting she had to leave, but not before we got this photo.
