Here are a few updates for today, Wednesday of ModPo 2019 week 5:

WEBCAST. Tomorrow’s webcast will begin at 7 PM Boston time. Click HERE to join us at the time of the webcast. HERE is the discussion forum thread for posting questions and comments before, during & after the webcast.

INTERESTING DISCUSSIONS HAPPENING NOW. Below is a short list of great discussions happening this week in our forums—about week 5 poems and related topics.

SEATTLE? VANCOUVER? The ModPo team is thinking very seriously about traveling to Seattle and possibly also to Vancouver in early January 2020. It will help us to know if there are Seattle-area and/or Vancouver-area ModPo people out there. Please email us at modpo@writing.upenn.edu if you might like to meet up with us in either or both of those cities.

NEW YORK. Please email us at modpo@writing.upenn.edu if you would like to be with us in person during our October 30 live webcast in New York City at the Morgan Library. The session will begin at 7 PM that night.

ESSAYS. Go HERE to find your colleagues’ essays to read and review! Many essayists are receiving helpful comments but there are a few essays that could use some more. Who said it doesn’t take a village to care for individual learners in a MOOC?

Okay, we’re on our way to Boston. We’ll see some of you in person tomorrow evening at MIT, and others in person on Saturday night at Lisa New’s home—and many others we’ll “see” during the webcast as you participate from your own spot on the globe.
